Author quote about the book:
When I was young, my father used to tell me so many stories about his childhood in Ahvaz and Shushtar that I felt like I had spent that time with him …
When I had children myself, I wanted them to know my adventures.
That’s why I wrote this book.
I am very happy that a Persian version of it is now available to my compatriots. I hope that the deep respect and love I have for my family and culture will be reflected in these pages.
Although I have spent most of my life outside of Iran, Iran is still in my veins.
