Who is Joel Austin?
Born in Houston, Texas, he is one of six children of John Osteen. His father was a former pastor of the Baptist Church. He later founded the Lakewood Church, which is now run by his son and is one of the largest Protestant churches in the United States. Joel first studied theology on his father’s advice, but returned to Houston in 1980 after failing to study theology. Upon his return, at the request of his father, he worked behind the scenes at Lakwood Church for many years, until he finally gave his first sermon on January 17, 1999.
Joel Austin was born on March 5, 1963, which is equivalent to March 5, 1963.
Joel’s father, a priest, encouraged him to speak in church, but he refused. The largest Protestant church (a branch of Christianity) is located in Houston, USA.
Finally, in 1999, after the death of his father, Joel Austin continued his father’s work and replaced him with the High Priest of Likwood Church. He never imagined that he would follow in his father’s footsteps.
