How to Stop Feeling Like Sh*t of Andrea Owen
Embrace yourself. I also want to say something that might surprise you. All the habits that we will mention in this book are all quite common.
After reading this book, no one thinks to himself, “No, I do not do any of these things.” And it’s not a problem either. In fact, it’s good. Sometimes you need these habits to protect yourself.
We need them to take care of ourselves in the sufferings of life. This is what we have learned and habits have an impact – albeit for a short time. There are times when we become so enslaved to these habits that they can no longer protect us. In fact, they hit us so hard that we got into trouble.
Some motivational books tell you that you get debt from each hand; In other words, your energy and way of thinking overcomes circumstances and reality. I used to believe in this view, but the more I looked around and listened to people’s stories, the more I realized sometimes … this is life. Life is hard, not because we do not know the way, but just because life is hard. This book tells you how to recognize your annoying habits, take a different approach, and practice new behaviors. If you do not succeed, try again. Repeat over and over again. This book is a step-by-step guide.

Isolation and hiding do not protect you.
We live in a social world. Even natural science tells us that we – as humans – are designed to communicate. Some arguments have made us like this fact. In many ways, though, we are more isolated than ever.
I often ask the women they work with what their support system looks like, specifically about the friendships that exist between them, and most of them said that they discuss these issues; Many of them tend to be alone and hide, even if they are involved in female friendships and relationships.
I am so afraid of this world that I can no longer move. If my people saw my true self, they would be terrified of what would happen. I am afraid of people’s thoughts because they only know how much I know.
I’m afraid they will realize that I desperately need other people. I just want to love someone and he will love me. I have built my life around perfectionism, self-destruction, and the need to control the habits and behaviors that I thought protected me.
