Nader Ebrahimi is one of the well-known authors of Iranian literature who has left many works for children and adults. Shahr-e Qalam Publishing House has recently published a collection of his stories for children in the “B and C” age group in a collection entitled “Rare Ebrahimi Memoirs”. In addition to Ebrahimi readable stories, this collection is accompanied by beautiful illustrations by the best illustrators in Iran.

Nader Ebrahimi (born April 4, 1961 in Tehran – died June 6, 2008, Tehran) was a contemporary Iranian novelist. In addition to writing novels and short stories, he has worked in filmmaking, songwriting, translation, and journalism. Ebrahimi, along with Bahram Beizai and Ebrahim Golestan, is one of the few Iranian speakers who has worked and been known in both cinema and literature.

Nader Ebrahimi was born on April 5, 1961 in Tehran. His father, Ata al-Mulk Ebrahimi, was the son of Ajudan Hozour and a descendant of Ibrahim Khan Zahir al-Dawla, the famous ruler of Kerman in the Qajar era. He has (Qalamestan Atta) and his relatives (Ebrahimi of Kerman) are still known and famous in the city and province of Kerman.

His mother was also a Larijani living in Tehran. Nader Ebrahimi completed his primary education in his hometown of Tehran, and after receiving a literary diploma from Dar al-Fonun High School, he entered the Faculty of Law. But he left the school after two years and then got a bachelor’s degree in English language and literature.
It is difficult to provide a complete list of Abrahamic occupations. He himself, in his two books “Ibn Mashghaleh” and “Abolmashaghal”, while describing the events of his life, has also dealt with his various activities. Among his occupations have been: Assistant Mobile Repair Worker in Turkmen Sahara, Printing Worker, Bank Accounting and Delivery, Newspaper and Magazine Layout, Mirzaei, a Carpet in the Market, Translator and Editor, Practical Iranology and Publishing Iranian Cognitive Articles, Documentary Filmmaking And cinematography, illustrating children’s books, managing a bookstore, calligraphy, painting and painting on scarves and clothing, teaching at universities, and so on.

During all his busy and unemployed years or the time he spent in prison, he did not give up writing, which he had started at the age of 15. In 1342, he published his first book entitled “House for the Night” in which the story of “Cursing” was met with a great response. By 2001, in addition to hundreds of research and critique articles, more than a hundred books had been published by him, including long stories (novels) and short stories, children’s books, plays, screenplays, and research in various fields.

Some of his works have been translated into different languages ​​of the world. “Smokeless Fire”, “Ibn Mashghaleh” and “Arash in the Realm of Doubt” are among Nader Ebrahimi’s published works.
Nader Ebrahimi has written and directed several documentaries and feature films, as well as two television series, and has composed songs for them. He was also able to establish the first non-profit non-governmental organization, Iranology; Who spent a lot of money and effort traveling, making videos, photos and slides from all over Iran and archiving them; But it was not recognized and used as it should be, and it stopped when the revolution and the war came.

He focused his career on children’s literature by founding the Institute for Children and Adolescents in collaboration with his wife. The institute was set up to study issues related to children and adolescents and to write, publish and distribute books, drawings, photographs, and research on children’s moods, behaviors, and languages, as well as to study their learning styles. “Hamgam” received the titles of “Asia’s Selected Publisher” and “World’s First Selected Publisher” from the Asian and World Children’s Book Illustration Festivals.

Ebrahimi has received the Bratislava First Prize in the field of children’s literature, the UNESCO First Prize for Education, the Iranian Book of the Year Award, and several other awards. He also won the title of “Selected Writer of Fiction 20 Years After the Revolution” for his feature-length seven-volume “Smokeless Fire.”
At the beginning of the revolution and the interim government, Dariush Forouhar, the then Minister of Labor, appointed him as an advisor to the Minister, but he resigned after a short time. Ebrahimi has experienced various sports, has founded one of the oldest mountaineering groups named Abarmard and has been influential in the development of mountaineering and mountaineering ethics.

Ebrahimi died on June 7, 2008 after years of battling a tumor.

In 1390, the Tehran City Council Passage Naming Committee renamed 17th Kargar North Street (Amirabad) in Tehran, where his house was located in the last twenty years of his life, to Nader Ebrahimi Street. The city of literature has also made a documentary called “Once again the man we loved” which is a story of 72 years of Nader Ebrahimi’s prolific life.

Nader Ebrahimi has left numerous works during his life, including adult and child stories, screenplays, plays and translations. This documentary has dealt with the story of this influential author in nine chapters. This work has been directed and written by Mohammad Hassan Yadegari and its name has been adapted from one of Nader Ebrahimi’s works.
This documentary refers to the rare revolutionary struggles to achieve the ideal society from the 1930s to the 1970s. The documentary “Once again the man we loved” in 60 minutes is dedicated to conversations with people such as Kiomars Poorahmad, Ebrahim Hatami Kia, Farzaneh Mansouri (Nader Ebrahimi’s wife), Akbar Alemi, Mostafa Rahmandoust and Jamshid Gorgin. They talk about the performance of Nader Ebrahimi in different decades of contemporary Iranian history.
