Description

The Four Agreements, subtitled “The Toltec Indians’ Wisdom Book” by Don Miguel Ruiz, recounts the teachings of the Tutankhamuns years after their presence on earth. Historians consider the Toltecs to be a group of humans who lived in southern Mexico millions of years ago. But Don Miguel Ruiz, the author of the book, explains in the book’s introduction that the Toltecs were in fact a group of artists and scientists who came together to discover and preserve spiritual knowledge and ancient rituals and had no special relationship with each other.

Book of The Four Agreements
Self-knowledge and finding a way to live better and become a better human being is the common concern of millions of people on the planet. A concern that seems to have arisen centuries ago – just shortly after basic human needs were met – and continues to this day. A concern that has become the pretext for the formation of many articles and books. Don Miguel Ruiz’s Four Covenants, using the teachings of the Toltecs, suggests covenants to alleviate these concerns. Some liken the book to a reward they received after a failure, while others see it as a punishment for their judgments.

This book outlines four basic principles or four covenants and teaches the reader step by step how to follow these principles in their daily lives to achieve inner peace.

How were the four agreements written?
The Toltecs were divided into disciples and masters, and other natives called their habitat “the place where man becomes God.” As Europeans invaded North and Central America, Toltec masters were forced to refrain from teaching and disseminating knowledge in order to preserve their ancient wisdom.

Less than fifty years ago, a descendant of the Toltecs, Don Miguel Ruiz, felt the need to share the teachings of his ancestors with the people in order to bring peace to mankind. The result of this decision was the writing of the best-selling book The Four Covenants, which was listed as one of the best-selling books in the world for more than ten years.

Author of the Four Agreements; The last grandchild of the Toltecs
Don Miguel Ruiz is a descendant of the Toltecs, whose lineage is shamanizadeh, whose job is a surgeon, and whose love is writing and teaching. He is now 66 years old and for more than 30 years as a spiritual teacher, he has changed the lives of many people with his books and teachings. Ruiz is influential because of his deep insight into the truth of human existence. A word that fascinates the reader.

Surgeon Don Miguel Ruiz worked as a surgeon for several years after graduating, but a fatal accident caused Ruiz to give up surgery and stay with his mother for several years to complete his learning of the traditional and spiritual teachings of the Toltecs. He then became a student of one of the great shamans of the Mexican desert, and it was during this period that his grandfather taught him points through dreams. Although there is no written work left from the teachings of the Toltec people, Don Miguel Ruiz has tried in his books to combine medical and spiritual teachings with an effective way to achieve liberation in the Toltec style.
By 2018, Don Miguel Ruiz has written ten books on human truth and wisdom. Books that change human perceptions of the world inside and outside. His most famous books are the Four Covenants, “Master in Love” and “The Fifth Covenant”, the book of the Fifth Covenant is a continuation of the book of the Four Covenants.

Learn more about agreements
“Everything we do in this world is based on a contract or covenant that we make with each other, God, life, and ourselves,” says Don Miguel Ruiz in The Four Covenants. In this book, he shows the reader that with a little change, we can have new experiences in life, experiences that fill our lives with liberation, joy, and true love.

The four valuable covenants that Don Miguel Ruiz says in the 120 pages of his book are: “Throw away your limiting beliefs” because it is your mind and thoughts that have limited you. “Be sensitive in your choice of words.” Your speech is so powerful that it can absorb something you have just said once. So always keep your word positive.
“Do not take anything for granted, and do not prejudge matters.” Ruiz believes that our thoughts are as influential as our professions, so we should not spend our mental energy on useless issues and prejudices. Finally, “always do your best” does not matter what your goal is; Always do your best. Neither less particles nor more particles.

Who is the translator of the book Four Covenants?
Delara Ghahraman, the translator of the Four Covenants, has given a complete explanation of the perspective of the book The Four Covenants of Ruiz by the publication of “Mindful” in the introduction of the book. The hero who delra’s hero and the experience of translating other spiritual-mystical books such as “The Alchemist” by Paolo Coelho and “Journey to the Other” by Carlos Castaداeda, the meaning of the word “dream” in the book Four Covenants with the meaning of “dream” in the works He compares Coelho and Castanda and interprets this difference in the book’s introduction.

“This book is attractive to readers at first, difficult and heavy in the middle, and very light and relaxing at the end,” says Del Ara Ghahraman about the Charter. He suggests to the readers of the Four Covenants that they do their best to read this book, but if they find themselves under additional pressure, they can leave the book for a while and not put too much energy into it.
A special point that the translator adds in the introduction is his emphasis on not committing sin verbally. In the introduction, he quotes verses from the Holy Qur’an that forbid gossiping and talking nonsense. With this point, Delara builds a bridge from the teachings of Don Miguel Ruiz to Islamic culture, which shows the comprehensiveness of the concepts of the Book of the Four Covenants in all cultures.

Rashidin Publishing House also published a new translation of the Four Covenants in 1993, translated by Reza Nazeri, but the comprehensive translation of Delara Ghahraman is still the best translation of the book The Four Covenants, which was published this year (1398).

In part of the four covenants we read:
“Everything you see and hear in this moment is nothing but a dream. You are dreaming at this moment. “You are awake and dreaming.”

The word is not just a sign or a written symbol. The word is a force. It is the authority you have to express and communicate, to think, and ultimately to create the events of your life. You can speak. What other animal on the planet can speak? The word is the most powerful tool you have as a human being, and it is a magical tool. But like a double-edged sword, your words can create the most beautiful dreams or destroy everything around you.

One edge is the misuse of the word, which creates a real hell. The other edge is the innocence of the word, its innocence, which creates only earthly beauty, love and paradise. Closed speech, no matter how it is used, may set you free or imprison you more than you are now. All the magic you have is based on words. Your word is a special charm and misuse of that black magic.
In any case, do your best, no more and no less. But keep in mind that most of your efforts are not always the same. Everything is alive and constantly changing, so sometimes your best efforts are of great quality and sometimes not good enough. When you wake up in the morning energetic and energetic, your best efforts are better than when it is night and you are tired. Most of your effort when you are healthy is different from when you are sick or when you are awake than when you are confused. Most of your effort depends on whether you are happy or sad or angry or jealous.

The problem for most people is that they lose control of their emotions. Then there are emotions that control human behavior, not the other way around. When we lose control, we say things we should not say and do things we should not do. That is why it is so important that we do not sin with our words and become spiritual warriors. We must learn to control our emotions in order to gain enough power to change the covenants of fear, escape hell, and create our own personal paradise.
