Excerpts from the book How not to be ordinary:
When you were a child, when you wanted to do something that the teacher or those around you did not like, you would be asked this question: “If someone throws himself off the bridge, you must do the same. the debt?” They think such things, even if many do, are foolish.

Their argument is to be yourself and not to follow the crowd. Not a bad idea, even if sometimes it takes control of you instead of helping you think independently. But one day you will mature and the paper will turn in your favor. That’s when people expect you to act like them, and if you act against their wishes, they get angry and upset.
It is as if they are asking, “Oh, everyone is throwing themselves off the bridge, why aren’t you throwing yourself?” Chris Gilbo wrote the book How Not to Be Normal to fulfill childhood dreams in adulthood. Put your decision into action. Live as your heart desires.
