Memoria de mis putas tristes (Spanish: Memoria de mis putas tristes) is the latest published novel by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. This work was published in 2004.

The book is the story of an old journalist who, on his 90th birthday, decides to lose the virginity of a fourteen-year-old prostitute.

But when he finds the person he is looking for, he realizes that the prostitute has fallen asleep due to the drugs given to her by the head of the brothel and can not wake up.

This work was first published abroad by Amir Hossein Fatanat.

This book was later renamed to receive permission to be published in Iran and was published under the title “The Memory of My Sad Lovers”.
