He started his literary hard work under the supervision of Houshang Golshiri and in the sixties he became very famous by publishing the symphony of the dead in the period of Iranian literature. Marufi was repeatedly interrogated for his anti-Iranian views. Needs a source and eventually left Iran and moved to Germany due to high political pressures.

He has taught in the field of fine arts in Tehran in the field of dramatic arts and has taught literature in Tehran’s high schools for about eleven years. The first collected sample of his story with the name facing the sun was published in the year one thousand three hundred and fifty-nine in Tehran. His novels have now been published in some press, but it was with the publication of the Symphony of the Dead that his name was registered as a writer.
