Sadegh Hedayat is a writer, a painter born in 1281 in Tehran, and after several unsuccessful suicides, he finally committed suicide in 1330.
His most famous work is The Blind Owl and Oramit can be considered one of the great Iranian writers. He has also translated works of European literature such as Kafka and Chekhov.

He graduated from St. Louis School and went to Belgium to study pure mathematics, but he was not satisfied, so he went to France and wrote a book on the benefits of vegetarianism.

Many speakers have also been influenced by his work.

Haji Agha is a socio-political story that is told in the form of humor and the guiding tones of Haji Agha’s conversation with different people in the society are well expressed in this book, and also the characters of the story speak very slang. This book was welcomed at the time of its publication. The Tudeh Party was established and has been translated into 10 languages.

Haji Agha’s book is a long story by Sadegh Hedayat, which was published in 1324 by Sokhan Magazine in Tehran. The book has been translated and published in Russian, German, English, French, Dutch, Armenian, Istanbul Turkish, Slovenian, and Uzbek.
The story of the book takes place during the Second World War and the main character of the story is one of the bazaars of Tehran named Haji Abu Trab.

About Sadegh Hedayat
Sadegh Hedayat was born in February 2002 in Tehran. He was born into an educated family, working in the public sector.
During his high school years at the Dar al-Fonun, he dropped out of school due to illness, but from the very beginning he was interested in writing and wrote a book (Man and Animal) in high school.
He went to the French school of St. Louis to continue his education, and he and a group of students were among the first to be sent to Belgium to continue their education.

There he chose pure mathematics, but due to the unfavorable conditions of study there and his intense interest in leading to France, he reached Paris. In Berlin he published a book (The Benefits of Vegetarianism).
He committed suicide while in Paris and was rescued by the occupants of a boat. And the books (play by Parvin Dokhtar Sasan, Alive to the Grave and Madeleine Short Story) were written at a time when she committed suicide, and all of them show the black image of Hedayat from life.
After leaving the field of architecture, he returned to Tehran and started working as a clerk.
In 1314, he was banned from writing in Iran by writing a book (Vagh Vagh Saheb). During this time he went to India and published a novel (Blind Owl) written in France in India.
Hedayat also wrote bitter jokes that are influenced by his financial pressures and hardships and sufferings. He returned to Iran after a few years and re-employed at Bank Melli. And was hired by the Ministry of Culture.
The books he wrote under the influence of World War II include Haji Agha, Ab-e Zandegi, Velangari, and even a translation of a collection of works by Kafka, who expressed his strong social criticism in these stories.
Finally, in 1326, he returned to France. And after four years, on April 10, 1961, he burned all his works and committed suicide.

1- This is the homeland of thieves and smugglers and the prison of its people. 3- It is our duty to keep people stupid, so that they can fight on their own and get into trouble! ها Thieves and smugglers have always been versatile in this land and water; Because the competent foreign authorities have deemed it so… Make no mistake, we do not want you to go and fix the prayers and fasting of the people; On the contrary, we want to promote old customs in the name of religion. We need fanatical people with Husseini’s breasts and horns, and not believers, not Muslim believers.
4- Dead soil has been sprinkled in this country. It is no longer useful for this dead mother to decorate her homeland and rub white with white water, because the signs of stench and decay are falling from her head and face. If we do not frighten people from the punishment of that world, and in this world we do not frighten them with bayonets and fists, tomorrow our hats will be terrible. If the crew lives and works for ten hours a day and needs bread for the night and I am in the carpet warehouse until the arch is arranged, he must believe that this is destiny. I sabotaged, then bring a donkey and load beans! There is no place for me and you to live anymore. In order for us to reach our goal, the nation must remain ill, hungry, illiterate, deaf and blind, and beg its right from us; But do not forget that outwardly people should be expressed sympathy and compassion because it is fashionable today, but inwardly one should take out their father. I remind you that only by spreading superstitions and creating a riot in the name of religion can we stop these new movements that have spread here from the northern neighbor. Then we will cut a giant male for them so that this time they can get their father’s account! If necessary, we joined forces with the goblins and demons to prevent the situation from changing. Changing society means our death and the like. So, our duty is to spread whipping, beating the chest, beating the house, exorcism, fasting, opening a mosque and a husseiniyya, encouraging the mullahs and knives, and speeches and sermons against the discovery of hijab. You must always turn this nation backwards and pay attention to the customs and traditions of two or three thousand years ago, politics requires it.
