Description

Gaddafi’s Harem by Anik Kojan is not a story, it is a documentary narrative that can make any reader ‘s hair stand on end. French journalist Anik Koujan published the book in 2013.

The translator of the book is Ms. Kojan Bijan Ashtari. The first character in this book is a Libyan girl named Suraya. A girl who was abducted from school and her life and dreams were destroyed as a teenager under the boots of the Libyan dictator.

Many girls in Libya have had the same fate as Soraya. Many of them never spoke of their suffering for fear of being disgraced, but Soraya broke this unwritten rule, she is the bravest of these girls. Revealing Gaddafi’s secret was not an easy task. Many Libyans do not want to talk about this secret even after the overthrow of their evil dictator. Gaddafi’s bodyguards, who have always been seen in photographs around him, have been the subject of many photographers around the world.

The Libyan Muslim ruler has always been portrayed as a male rights activist. But no one knew what was going on behind the walls of Bab al-Aziziya. “Bab al-Aziziya” became the burial place of many Libyan girls, where violence, rape and sexual harassment were rampant in the 21st century.
