Description

Introduction of Forough Farrokhzad’s book (Forough Farrokhzad Poetry Divan)
Forough Farrokhzad’s Divan has been compiled by Behrouz Jalali. This poetry collection includes the complete collection of Forough Farrokhzad’s poems. In addition to all the poems of this contemporary poet, a description of his circumstances and biography is given in a separate section.

Forough Farrokhzad, better known as Forough Farrokhzad (born 8 December 1313, died 24 February 1345) is a contemporary Iranian poet. He published five books of poetry, which are notable examples of contemporary Persian poetry. He died in a car accident at the age of 32.

He began his work with collections of captives, walls and rebellions, in the form of Nimai poetry. Then, meeting and collaborating with Ebrahim Golestan, a famous Iranian writer and filmmaker, caused an intellectual and literary transformation in Forough.
Returning to poetry, he aroused widespread admiration by publishing another birth collection, then published the collection Believe in the Beginning of the Cold Season to establish his place in contemporary Iranian poetry as a great poet.

Forough’s works and poems have been translated into English, Turkish, Arabic, Chinese, French, Spanish, Japanese, German and Hebrew. After Nima Yoshij, Forough, along with Ahmad Shamloo, Mehdi Akhavan Sales and Sohrab Sepehri, is one of the pioneers of contemporary Persian poetry.

Prominent examples and the culmination of modern Persian poetry appeared in the works of Forough and Shamloo. “Morvarid” Publications has published the seventh edition of this poetry collection in 2000.
