Introducing the book Einstein’s Dreams

Einstein’s dreams are neither a novel nor a science book.

Rather, there is an imagination of Einstein in the days when the theory of time had not yet been developed.
Einstein’s book of dreams consists of 30 chapters of 2-3 pages.

Each chapter has a different scenario envisaged for the time:

What happens to the world if time repeats itself like a loop?

Or if time moves from the future to the past, if time moves in different places, if our movement is faster than time, if time is discrete instead of continuous, and….
The whole book is about what life would be like if time were not what it is now. A small compact book with thirty different scenarios about time. It must be very attractive is not it?

We only see one face of time, but maybe in a different time
Our real world is flowing and this can be the reason for many wonders around us for which we can not have a logical explanation. Alan Lightman imagines Einstein in the days when he had not yet grasped the hypothesis of time, and he guessed every hypothesis Einstein could have imagined, and wrote a story about it. The stories assume the inhabitants of a small town in Switzerland, which is flowing in their world at that time, and thus introduce different faces of time.

In one of these worlds, time is like a circle that repeats itself after a cycle, and this cycle continues indefinitely. Accepting this hypothesis can justify what we sometimes think has happened to us before. In another world, unlike the previous world, time flows like a river and is forward. Now, if one separates from this current due to a mistake or event and returns to the previous time by a deviant current, one can change the future.
Every little thing that this person does can change the course of history. This hypothesis justifies the behavior of strange people who run away from other human beings and try not to cause the slightest thing in the lives of others; People we call overly expedient. In the other world, there are two times, one mechanical and the other physical. In mechanical time, everything has a material definition, and the people who live in this time are in a perfectly planned world.

But on the contrary, those who live in physical time have nothing to do with the material definition of things, and they have no special plans, which are called carefree people. Mechanical time has no flexibility and man is actually trapped in it. In another world, the farther we go from the center of the earth, the later time passes and the less it affects people. So people try to live in the highlands and build their houses on high pedestals so that they will grow old later and live longer. In another world, the past and the future change.
First the result of the work happens and then it happens. In this world where nothing can be predicted, one can live more realistically, because nothing is done for reasons past or in the future, but only for what it’s done. Give. In the other world, the passage of time is a factor of order, and everything will be in order over time, and there is no need to try to fix things. In the other world, time is concentrically extended outward and stationary at the center.

Eternal moments can be created in the center. Some people think that it is better not to approach the center of time, life is the source of sorrow and it is better to end sooner, some people think the opposite and prefer to enjoy eternal happiness. In another world there is no time, there are only images, in another world there is no memory, and so is talking about other worlds with other times, a world in which time passes in reverse, a world in which It only lives one day, a world in which time is a sense of smell or taste.
A world in which life has no end. A world that at that time had no quantity and only quality. A world in which time can be coordinated with time. A world in which time is a local event and as a result every city is alone. A world where the past does not exist. Finally, Einstein developed his theory of time by examining all these times in different worlds. Of course, despite the small volume of the book, it can not be read quickly, because it takes time to understand each of these worlds

Each of us thinks we live in a world ruled by only one time. But we forget that there are countless times within us. In this book, each of these times creates a world on its own, and “Ellen Lightman” describes in a simple and gentle way the reactions of the inhabitants of a small town in Switzerland, in each of these worlds.

These seemingly unreal worlds are each part of our inner life. Because each of us has felt one day that we live in a world that has no tomorrow. Either in a world based only on the past and a memory, or even in a world that is a prisoner of clockwork. Can not the reason for our own reactions or those around us, which is sometimes surprising and surprising, be found in the decomposition of time.
