Introducing the book Confess by Colin Hoover
Hoover wrote his 11th novel, “Confession” in 2015, which in addition to being on the New York Times bestseller list, also won the Best Book Award for Readers’ Good Readings. Made by Katie Lakerke and Ryan Cooper.

The language of this author is simple and full of descriptions, which in combination with the special writing style and the use of formal and colloquial language together, make such pleasant writings, and most of his works fall into the style of “realism” and the genre of “romance”. He is a writer who writes in a modern way and in the tumult of this modernity, he depicts the emotional connections between human beings in a special way. Mrs. Auburn Reed, whose whole life is planned and based on books and accounts, enters the Dallas studio to get a job position.

The owner of this studio is Mr. Khoshtipi named “Owen Gentry”. Auburn has no intention of falling in love with this gentleman, a man with a mysterious past! He tries to ignore Owen but ultimately fails.

Now it’s Owen’s secret that threatens their relationship, and Owen’s only hope is to save himself with a confession: I look at all the paintings and realize that there is a confession next to each painting.

I ask in surprise: “Are all these confessions of real human beings? “Do you know everyone?” He shakes his head and walks towards the door. “They all belong to strangers who throw their confessions in the gap, and I draw inspiration from them.” I go to the next painting.

I read the confession without looking at the painting. I will never allow anyone to see me without makeup, I am afraid of the day I will die and my face will be without makeup at the funeral.

Excerpts from the book Confession

I look at all the paintings and realize that next to each painting, there is a confession. I ask in surprise: “Are all these confessions of real human beings? “Do you know everyone?” He shakes his head and walks towards the door.

“They all belong to strangers who throw their confessions out of the gap, and I draw inspiration from them.” I’m going to the next painting. I read the confession without looking at the painting.
Once I listen to my heart, I will never be able to find a way to ignore it again.
It’s amazing how far a truth can go between two people.
