Description

A history of western philosophy is a philosophical and biographical treatise published by René Descartes in 1637. It is better known as the “Je pense, donc je suis” source.

About the book of speech in the method of using reason
Descartes’s most important philosophical book and one of the most important philosophical books influencing European science and philosophy is a treatise called Speech on the Method of Using Reason (Wisdom) which was beautifully translated into Persian by the late Mohammad Ali Foroughi. They call him the father of modern philosophy because his influence on science and philosophy after him is undeniable.

The importance of Descartes in the history of philosophy is very important because he is the father of modern philosophy and the founder of rationalism, and philosophers such as Leibniz and Spinoza are completely influenced by his views. They know them well because, according to the English philosopher Russell, philosophers are also the children of their time.

The late Mohammad Ali Foroughi shows us the importance of this process. At first he intended to translate speech in method, but his vision is to know our thoughts before him and Descartes’ life and time. So he wrote the course of wisdom in Europe. That is, the book The Journey of Wisdom is to a large extent a parasite of the existence of this treatise of Descartes!

Introducing the book of speech treatise on the method of using reason by Rene Descartes

The treatise on speech in the method of using reason is one of the most influential works in the history of modern philosophy and is important for the development of natural sciences. In this work, Descartes addresses the issue of pessimism, which has previously been explored by other philosophers. Addressing some of his predecessors and contemporaries, Descartes modified their approach to state a fact that he considered to be undeniable. He began his argument with skepticism about everything, so that he could evaluate the world from a new perspective, free from any preconceived notions.

This book was originally published in Leiden, the Netherlands. It was later translated into Latin and published in Amsterdam in 1656. The book was intended as an introduction to three works: Dioptric, Metros, and Geometry. La Géométrie contains the basic concepts of Descartes, which later became the Cartesian coordinate system. The text was written and published in French instead of Latin, the second language in which most philosophical and scientific texts were written and published at the time. Most of Descartes’s other works are written in Latin.

René Descartes is a famous French mathematician and philosopher of the Enlightenment. René Descartes, the father of modern philosophy and analytic geometry, who woke philosophy from its deep medieval slumber.
